Cut your hair during the time period as provided on the Lunatips Calendar©
which is most suitable to your requirements, you will see/feel visible results within 3 days of having your cut during a Lunatips Hair Cutting Period

Long Hair
If you wish to grow your hair long ensure that you have your hair trimmed (min 1mm - max 10mm) during the periods marked Long Hair approximately once every 8 to 12 weeks or alternatively cut your hair during Protein 1 2 & 4 when they are travelling through a Moisturising 2 Period - you can expect your hair to grow between 5 - 9 inches per year when it is cut in accordance with your Hairs DNA

Once your hair has reached the length you are happy with proceed to cut your hair during alternate periods marked Protein 1 2 & 4 when they are travelling through a Moisturising 3 periods, this will ensure you maintain strong long healthy hair

Thick Hair
If you wish to thicken your hair ensure that you have your hair cut during periods marked Thicker Hair, each time hair is cut during these periods your hair will naturally thicken

Hair that is cut during Protein periods 1 2 & 4 produce hair that is most receptive to conditioning and colouring treatments

Short Hair
If you have short hair and would like to restrict the amount of length your hair grows each month ensure that you have your hair cut during periods marked Short Hair, or alternatively during Protein periods 3 & 5 whilst travelling through a Moisturising 3 period

Please note Protein periods 3 & 5 are not the best times to cut your hair if you apply colour to your hair, although you can if you wish to,

Greasy Hair

If you suffer from greasy hair have your hair cut during Protein period 4 as this will reduce the amount of natural oils produced, once you are happy with the amount of oils being produced proceed to having your hair cut during the time period of your choice

Protein Period 6

Avoid cutting your hair during this time period as cutting the hair during this time causes greasy hair, if your DNA Strand does not support Protein 6 and you didnt have greasy hair before cutting your hair you will have greasy hair within 3 days of having your hair cut during a Protein 6 period

Hair Loss

Upto 95% of hair loss occurs simply because the hair has been cut during time periods when your DNA strand is inactive and thus produces excess DHT, this causes the DNA to shed hair at a quicker rate than it can replace it, hair is also weakened by upto 15%

DHT is produced during Exfoliation periods, if you have your hair cut during this time period your hair will feel great on the day you have it cut however when you next wash your hair you will feel a difference in texture, hair will feel dry and fragile (brittle) and will become more prone to frizz

If you have been suffering any form of hair loss have your hair cut during any Protein 2 Period as this will encourage your DNA to produce new hair, as new hair is produced it will be very fine, trim your hair during alternate periods for thick hair (Protein 4), you only need to trim 1mm of hair from the areas that you are suffering hair loss so you can trim your hair up to twice a month ( once during each protein 2 & 4 period)

During all Protein periods gently massage your scalp as this will stimulate new hair cells

Shaven Heads

If you shave your hair regularly ensure that you shave during Protein periods only (exclusing protein 6) shaving during exfoliating periods instructs your DNA to produce DHT, if you have signs of hair loss ensure that you cut hair during Protein periods 1 2 & 4

Dandruff

Cutting hair during exfoliation periods causes upto 95% of dandruff cases, if you suffer from dandruff cutting your hair during designated hair cutting periods and using the correct types of shampoos at the right times will naturally reduce any dandruff that you have been experiencing
